The renowned artist Massamba Intore has recently headed to Europe to participate in the RPF Inkotanyi members’ retreat, which is taking place in Denmark from today October 4, to 6 October 2024.

Massamba Intore is scheduled to perform on the evening of October 5, 2024, during a special celebration marking 30 years since Rwanda’s liberation. The event will also celebrate the recent victories in the presidential and parliamentary elections, adding to the sense of pride among attendees.

Before departing from Kigali, Intore spoke to IGIHE, encouraging his fellow Rwandans, particularly those in the entertainment industry, not to be complacent about the nation’s progress. He emphasized the need to remain vigilant and committed to building Rwanda’s future.

“Rwanda’s history sets it apart,” Intore noted, “and it is crucial for artists to contribute to the country’s growth by upholding values of dignity and respect.” He also stressed the importance of unity, warning against division, saying, “The enemy is always at the door, seeking to divide us. We must stand strong together.”

Having first performed for RPF Inkotanyi members in 1989, Massamba Intore now celebrates 35 years with the movement. He assured his fans that the event in Denmark would be a powerful journey through song, reflecting on the milestones that led to Rwanda’s victory.
