Rwandans residing across different countries worldwide, whether for work, study, or residence, often come together to celebrate their culture and heritage. These gatherings serve as a reminder of their roots and provide an opportunity to showcase their rich cultural traditions to friends and acquaintances.

In Poland, a group of Rwandans has established ITORERO ICYEZA, dedicated to performing traditional Rwandan dances. Their mission is to foster a stronger sense of cultural identity among Rwandans living in Poland.

On March 17, 2024, ICYEZA held its inaugural event at Dom Kultury Kadr in Warsaw, Poland. The occasion was attended by Rwandans and their friends, including Prof. Shyaka Anastase, the Ambassador of Rwanda in Poland.
