In a heartfelt address at #MASA2024, Minister of Sport Sandrine Umutoni highlighted Rwanda’s remarkable journey of recovery and unity after the tragic Genocide against the Tutsi. She emphasized how Rwanda has dedicated itself to development and reconciliation, with culture playing a pivotal role in healing both emotional and physical wounds while fostering national unity.

Rwanda’s resilience and commitment to healing were further showcased as the country took center stage as the guest of honor at the cultural event. Among the captivating displays was a stunning mural that encapsulated Rwanda’s rich cultural heritage and spirit of resilience.

Adding to the cultural extravaganza was the enchanting performance by the National Ballet of Rwanda. Their mesmerizing display of traditional dances not only entertained but also served as a testament to Rwanda’s vibrant cultural identity.
